Easy run

Went to the gym this afternoon to lift weights and maybe ride the eliptical machine for a little while. I felt kind of stiff and heavy-legged while I was stretching and lifting, but by the time I was done with that part of the workout I felt somewhat energized.
Consequently, I decided to climb onto the treadmill and run an 3 easy miles. I was surprised at how good my legs felt and immediately began thinking in terms of 5 miles. After a while, though, I lost interest in the belt, and let the timer run out after 35 minutes. By then I had a nice, easy 3.66 miles. That's an average pace of 9:34.
This week I'm looking forward to cooler weather, especially in the morning. Most days are supposed to be in the upper 60s or lower 70s. Finally, some relief.
