This was the "coolest" day for running all week, but it seemed like the hottest. It was 92 when I left the house. I picked the Line Creek trail, which features a pretty serious hill in the last mile, but was mostly shaded the entire way. Breathing was tough going up hill, so I walked the steepest parts. I can still feel those healing ribs when I breathe real deep.
Despite the weather, it was a pretty good run, as I totaled 5.1 miles and averaged 9:19 per mile. Miles 3 and 4 were both under 9, which means I could call it a tempo run.
