Out on a run and waiting for traffic took a new twist this morning. I was about half way over the Venetian Causeway - half way to San Marco - when the lights started flashing ahead and the crossing arms came down. I had to stop and wait for the drawbridge to rise and a nice little yacht to pass. I took a picture.
I watched all the way out and back for dolphins and manatees, but had no luck there.
After yesterday's pretty fast run, I just did an easy 4.4 today, total time 41:50. Average pace was 9:31. I hope that at least partially neutralized that big ol' burger I ate last night.
