Observations: 1) Lot of people on the trail despite the weather.
2. Breeze and shade helped.
Thoughts: Focused on maintaining an easy pace and not overdoing it in the heat. I definitely thought it was hot, but the breeze was a major plus. I remember thinking I must be acclimating to the hot weather, because it didn't seem all that hard to do 8 miles in relatively tough conditions.
