I ran my last training miles this morning - just a 3 mile run designed to keep things loose. This week has all been short, easy runs.
Monday I did three miles, but they were all uncomfortable because the plantar faciitis in my left foot hurt all the way. That was due to the excessive amount of standing around I did Friday and Saturday, then the Saturday long run. The foot just wasn't recovered yet by Monday.
Tuesday it was 4 miles, and I felt great all the way. Not one bit of foot pain.
Today I hopped out of bed and right onto the treadmill, so I was a tad stiff for about a mile. Once I loosened up, things were fine.
I probably won't run at all until the race on Sunday, which starts at a civilized 8 a.m.
