Taper continues

Taper for the Oct. 20 Kansas City Marathon began last week, and it continues this week with another drop in overall mileage and intensity. I'm all for it. I can use the time to fully recover for the race.

Today's workout was 4 miles, but I did a little more: 4.3. I took it very slowly, doing the distance in 40:52 for a 9:30 average. Even though I did 16 just a day ago, I felt pretty good and could have gone longer, but it wasn't on the schedule and there was no point in it.
