After two hard runs, and three runs in three days, it was time to take it easy. I got out at 6:45, with the temperature at a surprisingly high 80 (more than 20 degrees warmer than Wednesday morning), for a four mile run. This one was slated to be "easy," and I had no desire for it to be anything but.
I started out at 11:02, then sped up to 10:25 for mile two. I finished with two miles in the mid 9:00's for an overall pace of 10:09. Nice and easy.
Going into Saturday's long run - 16 miles - I already have 26 miles for the week, so this is shaping up to be a 42-mile week.
