Tremendous morning - cool, cloudless, slight breeze. I woke up at 5:10 and almost didn't get up, then decided it would never be nicer out than it was now and got up.
I'm glad I did. As soon as I stepped out the door I knew this was going to be a good run. I decided it would be almost race pace.
I opened with a 9:44, then 9:14, 8:52, 8:20, 8:11, 8:06, and 7:54. The last 2 tenths was done at a 7:50 pace. The overall for the 7.2 miles was 8:36.
Really glad I got out of bed.
