Things are looking up a little bit. I ran for the third time in the last several days, and I felt a little better and ran a little faster this time the the other times. I went 3.08 miles in 45 min., for an average pace of 14.37 min. per mile (by comparison, when I wasn't hurting and in good shape I could cover the same distance in less than half that time).
But again, speed it not what it's about now. I just want to take it easy and slowly get my body used to moving again, and give it plenty of time to recover after each workout. For now, I will run only twice a week.
