Session Notes: I did this little run primarily to find out where I was in terms of recovery. Here are the results: Right'half of body=recovered. Left half=hamburger.
I had no illusions about how this run was going to work out. I intended to start slow and never go faster than 10 min. per mile. What happened was that I started slow and got slower. All along I thought I would eventually loosen up and the soreness would fade, but it didn't. The pain wasn't in the meat of the groin as it was a week ago, but high up. It was sore there a week ago, too, but secondarily. I guess the progress is that the pain lower in the groin is much improved.
I loved getting back out for a run, but I've got some more healing to do.
