Session Comments: Made up my mind early in this run to try to average my intended goal pace, which is 8:45. So, after a warmup mile of 9:34, I started concentrating on bringing the overall average pace down without doing it all at once and burning out. That meant running right around 8:45 for most of the remaining miles, but picking it up some for the last two or three miles. While I was running, I didn't think I was managing the run all that well, but now that I see the splits, it wasn't too bad. Miles 2-6 were (8: precedes all these numbers) 47, 39, 40, 37 and 48. Miles 7-10 were 33, 33, 30 and 27. I guess I could have been more consistently in the low 40s in the early miles. Overall I was just 2 seconds off my goal of 8:45.
