April 11, 2007

It was cold and windy, but it wasn't raining after work, so I did my little 3-mile run outdoors. I figured the conditions were similar to what I could expect in St. Louis, so I could get a read on how to dress. I wore two long-sleeved running shirts, plus light-weight gloves, but no hat or long pants (just running shorts). The wind was really howling out of the north, and I ran straight into it for the first two miles, but I still never really felt chilled. Sunday's weather is supposed to be about 40 degrees at the start, and maybe about 50 by the time I finish. As long as the wind stays light, that should be perfect.
I ended up doing 3.5 miles and averaging 9:07, which is maybe a little faster than I really should go.
