Finally had a chance to get out for a run this afternoon. It wasn't as warm as was forecast. Just 38 instead of 55, but warm enough to melt the ice off the streets. I got on all my cold-weather gear and was just about to step out the door when the call came. We were getting more company, and it was someone I didn't want to miss. I stayed home, and it was a good thing I did. If I'd gone I would have been 5 miles out when the rains came. It just poured down. There was thunder and lightning, too.
Thanks for stopping by, Annie.
So, with the sky falling, I went to the gym and the treadmill again. I did 9.15 miles in 90 minutes, for an average of 9:51. This would have been a far nicer run outdoors, but nevertheless I was happy to get it in. The bonus was I got another hour and a half into my audio book
