I've run 12 miles combined on Monday and Tuesday, and it's all been indoors. I'm just not thrilled to have to bundle up like it's the middle of winter to go out for a run in April.
While running on a treadmill isn't my idea of the ideal workout, it does have the advantage of being a bit kinder to my plantar faciitis-plagued left foot. It's not a particularly bad case, but it's an annoying one. About the only time it isn't bothering me is when I'm running, inside or out. I ice it twice a day and try to stay off it as much as possible. Unfortunately, I'm involved with a number of volunteer activities that frequently require extended standing, and that's when it really flares up. I eat a lot of ibupofren.
I need to start doing the physical therapy that I know will help it, but I've been too lazy to get it started. Maybe today.
Stop running, you say? Nonsense. I've tried it, and it seems to make little or no difference. It will go away when it feels like it.
It is warm today, so I'll be out on the road for a few miles.
