The weather had a wintry feel today after several warm days. By the time I got home and headed out for a 5 mile run, the temp was down to about 45 and it felt colder because of 15-20 mile winds.
I stayed in the neighborhood and ran one of my regular out and back routes. After warming up with a 9:23, I settled in to a 9 minute pace, give or take a few seconds. I actually ran 6.35 miles, figuring I'd kind of make up for the little 3-miler that I skipped on Monday. My average pace for the run was 9:02.
