I've done a little easy running in the past few days, but not until Wednesday did notice any new ITB pain in my left leg. Last night I ran 4.5 miles on the treadmill without any kind of wrap, and when I got off I could tell my leg didn't feel quite right. It was more uncomfortable than painful, though, so I didn't think much about it. This morning it was stiff and a little bit sore. I guess I need to be more conscientious about my ITB stretches and exercises. Meanwhile, I'll cut the miles and intensity.
I also have talked with a trainer at the YMCA, who showed me 3 new strength exercises designed for the ITB. I did those Tuesday, and they could have contributed to my little problem today. On Saturday, I see my massage therapist, and it'll be interesting to hear what he has to say.
